Privacy notice
Who we are
Cryonic is an independent product, run by the operator of cryonic.app. For anything about your data, email privacy@cryonic.app.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist we store:
- your email address,
- the date and time you joined,
- which form on the site you used (for example "join" or "phone").
To stop abuse, we also count recent sign-up attempts per visitor. For this we store a short one-way code made from your IP address and a secret value, never the IP address itself. These counts expire after ten minutes and are removed the next time anyone signs up.
We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising tools or tracking scripts. The site loads nothing from other websites.
Why
Only to tell you when Cryonic is ready to try. We do not send marketing, we do not sell or share your email, and we do not use it for anything else.
Our legal basis is your consent, which you give by joining. You can withdraw it at any time by asking us to delete your email.
Where it is kept
The site and the waitlist run on Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages and Cloudflare D1), which hosts and processes this data for us. The database is located in Western Europe. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles technical request data (such as IP addresses) to deliver the site and keep it secure; see Cloudflare's own privacy policy for that.
How long
We keep your email only while the waitlist exists. When the waitlist ends, we delete the list. You can ask us to delete your email at any time before then.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can object to our use of it. Email privacy@cryonic.app; we will reply and act within 30 days. If you think we have handled your data wrongly, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
The waitlist is not meant for children under 16. If you are under 16, please do not join.
